# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It's packed with protein but tastes like pure indulgence, not a health food.
  • You can make it in under 15 minutes, which means impressing people without the stress.
  • The edamame keeps it creamy even if your avocado isn't perfectly ripe.
  • It's vegan and gluten-free without feeling like you're missing out on anything.
02 -
  • Don't skip the cold water shock after boiling the edamame—it's the difference between bright green and dull, and it matters for flavor too.
  • If your guacamole sits for more than a couple hours, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to stop the browning and it'll stay good for almost 2 days in the fridge.
03 -
  • Buy your edamame already shelled to cut your prep time in half, or use room-temperature frozen ones if you're in a real rush—they'll blend just fine.
  • Keep your avocado whole and pitted until the last minute, then scoop it straight into the processor so it stays bright and perfect.
