# What You'll Need:

→ Jello Layers

01 - 1 (3 oz) box strawberry flavored gelatin dessert
02 - 1 (3 oz) box orange flavored gelatin dessert
03 - 1 (3 oz) box lemon flavored gelatin dessert
04 - 1 (3 oz) box lime flavored gelatin dessert
05 - 1 (3 oz) box berry blue flavored gelatin dessert
06 - 1 (3 oz) box grape flavored gelatin dessert
07 - 6 cups boiling water
08 - 6 cups cold water

→ Topping

09 - 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
10 - Rainbow sprinkles, optional

# Directions:

01 - Combine the purple gelatin dessert mix with 1 cup boiling water in a mixing bowl. Stir thoroughly until the mix is fully dissolved, then incorporate 1 cup cold water.
02 - Distribute a thin layer (approximately 2 tablespoons per cup) of dissolved purple gelatin into each of the 8 clear cups. Place cups in the refrigerator and allow the layer to set for 30 to 40 minutes.
03 - Prepare each subsequent gelatin flavor (blue, green, yellow, orange, red) following the same process: dissolve with boiling water, add cold water, and pour over the previous layer. Each layer must be completely set in refrigeration, taking approximately 30 to 40 minutes per layer.
04 - Once all gelatin layers are fully set, top each cup generously with whipped cream or whipped topping. Add rainbow sprinkles, if desired.
05 - Keep cups chilled until ready to serve.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It turns ordinary ingredients into showstopping party magic, and kids can't resist the layers.
  • Each bite brings surprise and delight, making this dessert a favorite for both celebrations and cozy gatherings.
02 -
  • Skipping chill time leads to blurry, runny layers—I found out the hard way.
  • Adding whipped cream too early melts it, so wait for the last moment to decorate.
03 -
  • Let your cups chill uncovered for a few minutes before adding the next layer—it prevents condensation from blurring the colors.
  • Use clear cups for maximum visual impact; seeing each layer makes the dessert even more magical.
